Web has become an ultimate thing for our civilization. The information age has transformed us all into a specie that depends on what bytes are passed from one end to the other. Its tsunami has engulfed every single operation of a human life from working to loving to dying. Our survival has always been endangered by new threats whether its the Animals or AI.
Now we are the internet generation and being digital is not an option but a necessity. The businesses have learned this phenomena well and those who didn’t rest in the graveyard. We have learned to value the people who run these digital architectures of today. We understand now, that these systems are capable of saving the most precious wealth of all time i.e Time. We now have lives that are more intricate than ever before and as the constructors of future we always find smart ways to solve out problems, ways that divide the complex into simple and tedious to desirable.
MintBlocks originates from the same desire and it focuses on software developers and people who have been cursed to interact with a bunch of different software platforms in order to do their work. All these tabs on our browsers steal our attention in non-productive ways and we spend more time on trying to work vs. doing the actual work. MintBlocks tackles this specific issue by connecting all the different platforms that are used to manage work into a single tab so all the user has to do is focus on doing the actual work. it lets the user monitor everything from a single interface and tackles the main use cases for the app. Kinda like a swiss knife.
I sketched a few ways to organize this and concluded that a 3 column grid layout will be a much better option. It gives a good overview of the integration boxes without consuming a whole lot of screen area.
After the product’s visual design was approved, it was time to work on the website. and the most enjoying work in this project was the copy writing. I kept the whole theme as a direct, humorous and easy to understand. Here are a few screens.
